We’re excited to announce the 2020 version of our Street Piano Project!
Studies show that music can help reduce anxiety, help with stress management and is a proven form of relaxation, not to mention it generates smiles and brings people together.
This year, Great Waters believes it’s more important than ever to share the power of music as our community recovers from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Usually our small but mighty fleet of pianos is deployed throughout Wolfeboro, New Hampshire from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with each brightly painted piano sitting proudly outside of businesses waiting for you to stop and play a few notes or a whole piece!
While we’re at home practicing social distancing, our pianos will stay in storage resting up for 2021! This is where our 2020 version comes in! Great Waters and our Sponsors, Huggins Hospital and Ashton & Company ask you to join us for some fun! Here’s how: If you feel so inclined, take a short video of yourself, a friend, or family member playing a piano, and upload HERE. You may also upload the video to your social media account. Please tag us and use #StreetPianosAtHome.
We’d love to post it for everyone to enjoy!
