Common Questions

Is Great Waters a non-profit organization?
Yes, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit New Hampshire organization.  Contributions made to our organization are tax-deductible.

 

Where is the venue located?
For the 2013 season we will be presenting five performances in the new Kingswood Arts Center, 21 McManus Road (off South Main Street) in Wolfeboro, NH and four performances at the Inn on Main, 200 N. Main St. in Wolfeboro, NH.   

 

What time does the concert start?
Most performances at the Kingswood Arts Center start at 8:00 pm except otherwise noted. Performances at The Inn on Main start at 7:30pm except as otherwise noted.

 

Are the seats reserved?
Seating in all sections at the Kingswood Arts Center is reserved.  Seating at The Inn on Main is General Admission.  See the concert schedule for details.

 

Is there accessible seating?
Yes, there are spaces for six wheelchairs, and some aisles seats have retractable arm-rests. 

 

Can we upgrade our seats?
Yes. You can upgrade your seats by providing us with your original tickets and paying the difference between the ticket prices. Subject to availability.

 

Do you offer season tickets?

If we can't use our tickets, can we get a refund?
No. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be given to someone else, or you can return them to our Festival office as a tax-deductible gift.

 

Where is the box office?
Tickets may be purchased/picked up until 4 p.m. on the day of a concert at our Festival Office 15 Varney Road, Wolfeboro. The box office at the concert venue opens one hour prior to the start of the performance.

 

What time do the doors open?
The doors open 30 minutes prior to performance time.

 

Are refreshments available?
If the performance has an intermission, soft drinks and snacks will be available for sale in the lobby.  No food or drink is permitted in the auditorium.  Please note that because the Arts Center is located on the campus of Kingswood High School, no alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises and therefore is not available for sale. The Inn on Main has a bar on premises for refreshments.

 

Smoking/Tobacco Policy
Please note that because the Arts Center is located on the campus of Kingswood High School, the use of any tobacoco products is not permitted.

Ample parking is available right at the venue.

 

Is there accessible parking?
Definitely - located at the entrance to the Kingswood Arts Center.

 

Where can I stay?
The Festival does not arrange for accommodations.  Information on local hotels, inns, motels, B&B's, camp and RV grounds may be obtained from the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce. Toll Free: 1-800-516-5324, or www.wolfeborochamber.com.

 

Do you offer a Youth Discount?
Yes. Youth (12 & under) receive $5 off any ticket.

 

How can I become a volunteer?
Those wishing to become a Festival volunteer are asked to fill out and submit a volunteer form.
